A denture is a removable replacement for missing tooth/teeth. It is made up of acrylic resin. Sometimes it is made in combinations of various metals.

Complete Dentures: Complete Dentures are replacement for totally edentulous patients. These replace all of upper and lower teeth. Generally made of acrylic plates and acrylic teeth. Comfort depends on muscles, bones , tounge etc. actually one should become habituated to it by wearing it continuously even if it is little uncomfortable in the beginning, even after adjustments. Once you are used to it, works wonders for you making it easier for chewing, speaking and the most importantly improving your look dramatically.

Metal+Acrylic Complete Dentures: These are easier types than that of full acrylic denturs because these are thinner, lighter and more adopting to the tissues. Since these consists of metal, they dont break easily providing you longevity of your dentures. You can choose your type after consulting to the dentist.
